What is a Specific Defect Inspection

Identifying issues in your home or property can be worrying and knowing who you can trust is key. A specific defect report is a building survey for a particular issue providing impartial advice that doesn’t come with a quote for repairs after it.

This is the first step in investigating the problems whether it is a crack, mould, damp, leaks etc. It is a visual inspection that is carried out and provided in a clear and organised format so that the report is easy to understand.

The report explains the likely causes, advice on repairing and timelines and depending on the requirements of the client estimations of associated costs that the repairs may incur.
